Alliance for Digital Innovation and Cybersecurity Coalition Urge Congress to Increase Cybersecurity Funding in FY 2025

The Alliance for Digital Innovation and the Cybersecurity Coalition sent a letter to leaders in Congress to urge them to increase the budget for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) to fund important functions. This investment would simply put cyber funding on track to restore prior-year levels adjusted for inflation and is critical to ensure the agency can defend the nation against the growing number of cybersecurity threats. To effectively address these challenges, the groups recommend that CISA’s budget be expanded in key areas: defending federal civilian networks, coordinating national cyber defense and information sharing, and leading efforts to safeguard U.S. critical infrastructure, particularly in response to escalating cyber threats from the People’s Republic of China.
