Statement from ADI on the Robotic Process Automation Playbook (v1.0)

ADI celebrates the recent publication of the Federal Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Community of Practice (CoP) Playbook (v1.0). Accelerating the use of commercial technology such as RPA within all Federal agencies will be a key driver in shifting Federal employees away from low-value tasks and freeing their time and efforts towards more high-value, mission specific activities. We applaud the Playbook’s focus on setting ambitious and achievable goals for expanded use of RPA throughout the enterprise, encouraging agencies to explore the numerous commercial capabilities already available for agency RPA efforts, and providing a flexible maturity model for RPA adoption and scale within all types of agencies.

ADI strongly encourages the CoP to continue their advocacy and outreach efforts beyond the government by inviting innovative commercial companies to sit at the table as proactive partners. Through more robust public/private sector collaboration, new RPA capabilities and use cases can be developed that ensure agency use of these leading-edge technologies can truly deliver better value to taxpayers and stronger, more secure digital experience to citizens.
