ADI Statement on Proposed FY2023 Budget

“ADI supports the Biden Administration’s efforts to move Federal departments and agencies to more modern, secure systems and architectures—including the proposed FY2023 budget, which begins to fund the requirements stemming from the cybersecurity and customer experience executive order issued in 2021. ADI recognizes that the FY2023 budget is just the start of the annual IT and cybersecurity budgeting needed for agencies to meet these requirements and move from legacy technology and into more modern, secure cloud-based environments. Investments in the Technology Modernization Fund, the Federal Citizens Services Fund, cybersecurity improvements, artificial intelligence, and other commercial technologies can enable critical progress toward agency missions and secure the government’s enterprise IT landscape. ADI looks forward to working with Congress and agencies to make sure the investments outlined in the budget are the initial steps toward harnessing modern, commercial solutions to provide Americans with services and cyber-defenses they deserve.” —Ross Nodurft, ADI Executive Director
