ADI Letter on Fiscal Year 2023 Appropriations for Technology and Cybersecurity Modernization
The Alliance for Digital Innovation sent a letter to congressional appropriators Monday, May 31, 2022, recommending several areas of investment as well as critical flexibilities to consider as part of the Fiscal Year 2023 federal budget. “Congress has done its part to provide federal agencies with both the authority and resources to plan for and adopt new and emerging technology for both mission and enterprise purposes,” the letter reads. “ADI supports the work accomplished to date – including the appropriation of $1 billion for the Technology Modernization Fund (TMF) as part of the American Rescue Plan Act (P.L. 117-2) as well as the infusion of capital into the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to bolster cybersecurity efforts across the government and industry.”
