The Homeland Security Department is replacing the decades-old legacy system officials use to analyze biometric data with a cloud-based platform, the Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology System (HART), which is expected to bring more processing power, new analytics capabilities and increased accuracy to DHS’ biometrics operations.
